Hi,

I want to start preparing for GMAT from today and give the exams by end of october. I need some advise and guidance on how to start immediately. I am willing to put in my best efforts. I am targeting Insead and cambridge. Please help. Thank you.

I would first buy the GMAT Official Guides and start doing questions right away. Depending on how much you want to spend, you can buy the set of Manhattan GMAT guides, which can teach you the fundamentals.

For a more focused approach:

Quant
-GMAT Club challenges
-Manhattan guides (if you don't have fundamentals)

Verbal
-SC1000/CR1000
-Manhattan SC
-Powerscore Critical Reasoning

Study everyday until you get sick of it, then force yourself to study more.
