Here's a little tough love coming at you: what I'm hearing is that you were blinded by the potential salary and that should somehow justify a lower than you would like GPA? I would not mention it at all because you don't have a viable story as to why your GPA suffered.
Thanks for the honest opinion.
My research on major by using potential salary as the only parameter didnt just cause the lower gpa. I shall break down what happened to me in a chronological order to bring some perspective,
1. I did no research on how the curriculum and professors are for my major in the college.
2. In 2nd year when I started to attend the classes for my major , it hit me that I actually do not like the subject at all. I dont have the freedom to switch majors to the one of my choice
3. I got disillusioned and started to hate myself for the wrong decision. I diverted my energy and attention to extracurricular events and activities .
4.Thus GPA took a beating for 2 years before I realised the error I made in approaching this issue.
In short disinterest for major and giving full attention to extra curricular tasks and fraternity activities caused my below avergae GPA.
So do consider this and send some more' tough love' in my way.
Thanks a bunch.
