Thanks for your thoughts. So having AACSB accreditation in accounting (like Baruch, Hofstra, Pace, and St. John's) doesn't add the cachet or prestige to compete with the likes of Columbia or NYU purely from an accounting point of view? Of those 4 AACSB-accredited schools, I would think an MBA in Accounting from Baruch would come the closest in terms of education and job placement.

I'm not in accounting, but I can't imagine that any certification/accreditation would bring any other NY-area schools on par with Columbia and NYU.

Of those four schools, I do believe that Baruch has the best reputation (but I'm not sure).
