I am starting my GMAT prep this month and trying to finalize on the books. After going through forum and posting by various people this is what seems relevant :
1.8 Manhattan GMAT Guides/4th edition or 10 Manhattan GMAT Guides/5th edition.I must say, I am bit confused which one to go with after reading through postings and feedback .However more likely I will stick with the latest version. 2.The Official Guide for GMAT Review 13th Edition. 3.The Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review 2nd Edition. 4.The Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review 2nd Edition
5.MGMAT Roadmap seems relevant - As I have decided to take path of "self study".
Thanks to 'BB' and GMAT CLUB for this awesome forum.

Those are plenty of books to work with - so good job organizing all of that thus far. Latest edition probably would be the best to work off of for anything.
Do keep in mind that the IR section is online -- so you will need to practice your IR questions using the code in your OG13 book or you can try some from the practice pill platform
I would definitely recommend the latest edition of the MGMAT strategy guides. For the most part the differences between the 4th and 5th edition are minor, but there is a significant update in Critical Reasoning and the 5th edition includes the Integrated Reasoning Strategy Guide. I'm assuming your 10 book strategy guide set include the Foundations of Quant and the Foundations of Verbal, which I think are a "must have" for any student but especially for those who will self-study. You can get all of those materials in the MGMAT "Complete Prep Set" (see link: https://www.manhattangmat.com/storeitems ... ItemID=591). If you get the "Complete Prep Set" you also get online access to 6 MGMAT practice exams, the OG Archer (great way to collect data on your OG performance), online question banks and more.
Thanks Kyle for your reply and additional information.I checked out the MGMAT 5th edition and it doesn't include Foundation Books for "Maths" and "Verbal". I guess will have to buy it separately. However the set does come with 6 online test.
