I have been out of school for about 8 years and am considering taking the GMAT. However, after looking at sample questions from the math section I was pretty much lost as it has been years since I have taken math in school. Are there any recommended books that will teach me the fundamentals to attack the math questions? Is it even possible to learn the basic math formulas the GMAT tests in a reasonable period of time?
I work as a Manager of Labour Relations and part of my job is costing benefit/wage increases etc. so I am doing math everyday but for GMAT math questions such as geomtery I feel like I would have to learn all this material all over again. If anyone else has been in my situation any input would be appreciated.
