Hi,
After looking at employment reports, it looks like LDP/rotational programs are not a common path for many MBA students (especially top MBA programs).
Does anyone know which schools are strongest in these areas?
In addition, I'm not sure how much of this is self-selection (presumably, you would want to go to Columbia to do consulting/Finance). Do you think it would be foolish to attend schools such as Stern, Columbia, Wharton (strong finance presence) if my ultimate goal is to work in a F500 company in a LDP or rotational program?

I'm not an expert in this area but Chicago Booth and Kellogg are both strong in this area. My instinct is that Duke UNC and Emory are as well but I'm not sure about that it's more of an instinct. I would look at schools that have a good family business program like Kellogg. I don't think that it's foolish of you to go to business school for the school, but I don't know if it would make sense for you to go to the top Finance schools in the United States for this particular goal. I think the Consulting schools would be more along the lines of what you're looking for, where there's a strong General Management program like Tuck.
