Hi guys, I have some question for you and I hope that with this post I will have a clear idea on the program to choose. I will give you a brief intro to my profile
Age: 20, Male
BSc in Business and Economics, top 5 Uni in Italy, course completely taught in English. Did one exchange of 8 months in Buenos Aires (I speak Spanish) and I should study for 6 months at NUS next year.
I should Intern in a consulting company in Indonesia for 4 months this summer.
Goal: learn Chinese and work in a consulting company in Asia.
GPA: 28.7/30
I have to take the GMAT, I think that 650 is doable
What is the best program in line with my goals?
I think that good programs may be: MS SMIB at ESSEC (specialized track ''Doing Business in Asia'') but I read bad reviews about it, MiM at NUS ( I should do an exchange there so I could have good probabilities to be accepted), MiM at HKUST, MiM CUHK. Are there other Asian programs you would suggest to me?
What do you think about these programs? Do you think that attending a Master in Europe (HEC, ESCP, LBS or similar) could give me the same career prospects in Asia?

If you want a course that has a dedicated focus on handling Asia Businesses, NUS and SMU are quite good options. Again if you are thinking NUS, SMU v/s HEC , ESSEC, etc, it depends upon how intensive you want your Asian Business track to be. If you are looking to go deep into the module, NUS , SMU,HKUST are sound options. However, if you would have to have some wider management perspectives and would like to keep job options open in both countries , then going for a EU school with an exchange semester in Asia makes better sense. Also remember that you are targeting HEC, ESSEC or any other top ranked school, a 650 GMAT would be on the lower side. ( Your overall profile otherwise looks good). NUS and SMU don't need a GMAT, so this should not be a problem here.
