Hi 123456aswe,

Finance Programs will absolutely place a premium on the Quant Scaled Score, so if you're choosing between those two scores, then the Q48 would be the better option. I can't offer much insight into how MSc Programs will handle the application process though, so conferring with an Admissions Expert is advisable.

I will be applying for MSc Finance courses at LSE and MIT and at a few second-tier schools for backup. I want to submit the applications by the end of the year or late January (should I decide to retake the exam). Also, thanks for the link with further info.

Based on the school list that you have provided, I would recommend you to reaper for the GMAT, because of the fact that these schools might put in more weightage on the Quants score and with a V41 once, you can very well replicate the score again.

All the best!
