Between 2008 and 2011, the number of Problem Reports (reports of computers affected by viruses or malware) has gone up significantly, although the company still has approximately 1,000 computers in service, just as it did in 2008.
We have performed an investigation as to the cause of the problems and determined that the increase in the Problem Reports occurred after many company employees began using a non-recommended browser (a browser other than Browser A) as their default Internet browser. I recommend that all employees be required to use the same default browser in order to reduce these risks.
Between 2008 and 2011, the number of Problem Reports (reports of computers affected by viruses or malware) has gone up significantly, although the company still has approximately 1,000 computers in service, just as it did in 2008.

Use the percentage-use graph in tab-2 for determining the percentage use of Browser-A in 2008 and 2011
Total computers=1000
In 2008, 700 out of 1000 computers used Browser-A
In 2011, 400 out of 1000 computers used Browser-A
Now, in tab-3 it is mentioned that - "In 2011, we only had 140 Problem Reports from computers using Browser-A, a decrease of 20% from 2008."
Hence, here, a decrease of 20% means we had 175 computers with Browser-A having problems in 2008.
So, out of 700 computers, 175 had problems with Browser-A in 2008
so the percentage of that is 0.25
And, out of 400 computers, 140 had problems with Browser-A in 2011
so the percentage of that is 0.35
This is how we get the 0.25 and 0.35 whose explanation was not provided in the solution above
Total computers=1000
In 2008, 700 out of 1000 computers used Browser-A
In 2011, 400 out of 1000 computers used Browser-A
Now, in tab-3 it is mentioned that - "In 2011, we only had 140 Problem Reports from computers using Browser-A, a decrease of 20% from 2008."
Hence, here, a decrease of 20% means we had 175 computers with Browser-A having problems in 2008.
So, out of 700 computers, 175 had problems with Browser-A in 2008
so the percentage of that is 0.25

so the percentage of that is 0.35
