Hello, my name is Marco and I have to share this important information to all Members

To all forum administrators, moderators, and forum founder [b]bb, this is not a course review but a public announcement that I have to share with all GMATCLUB members and future test takers

Before you decide to enroll in a GMAT Course described and reviewed in forums, and such include GMATCLUB, you have to know the following.


1- You have rights that the Local, State, and Federal Laws entitle you, including Customer Rights, Consumer Protection Law, Anti-Fraud Law and so on. Regardless of whether the course is online or in-person, the authorities protect you.

2-Make sure that you verify with actual people whom you know and who have taken such courses from the course provider. Do not solely believe in course provider´s website reviews and forums reviews as there are many instances that people create a profile only to review 100% postively and never again use the forum

3-Demand proof of course claims, advertising and stated benefits. Make sure you print and save their website benefits at the time you purchase a service or product. This will help you when you demand your benefits and rights and when you decide to take legal action.

4-Research the course provider's actual contact information and verify its address and real location. There are simply many individuals who will hide these important facts.

5-Make sure the course provider presents the staff and personnel who works for the company. Companies of dubious origins will state many claims but will not present actual verifiable information. Make sure where you invest your money and time on transparent companies.

6-Make sure the course provider presentes evidence that its tutors are 99th percentile. Beware as there are so many companies that will take advantage of this fact in order to allure new and unexperienced customers to their service.

7-Investigate the course provider and make sure that this company has an actual customer support team. If you see a company in which the same individual is doing the marketing, the customer care and the managerial roles, beware of this since it may be an indicative of "pocket businesses"

8-Make sure the course provider has a customer satisfaction warraty. Only the best and most responsible companies know about this and will offer this satisfaction warranty.

9-If you feel you that have received a lower-than-promised quality course; that you have been deceived by the course marketing; that you have been promised services that have failed to been delivered; that you have realized the company contradicts with its promises when you demand a benefit as stated by their course offerings and marketing or even their post forums and the company does not deliver; and that the company´s customer support does not help you in finding a resolution, then Report this issue immediately to the Authorities.

Regardless of your nationality, you have the right to denounce when a business has taken advantage of deceptive marketing, failure to deliver promised services and charge for unused services. When a business falls short on any of the premises and refuses to your claims, you can report your claims online to the following Federal Offices and you will be assured these agencies will respond to you.

If you decide to take a GMAT course, make sure you do your research and consider the information I posted here for futher analysis. If you are going to invest your money and time, do it wisely on ONLY major and reputable Test Preparation Leaders that have a long record in the industry and have all information stated publicly to you.

I believe I was victim of fraud and misleading marketing by a course provider in this forum by commiting a series of faults that I described previously and I already took legal action with the authorities.

I will provide more in-depth information as to the name of the course provider and the course of the case in particular.

Very good information! I will take your advice. I didnt pay attention to all those details but I think they are very important, also the money back guarantee and the thing aboutthe rights of customers.o

I am curious to know what was that course and what is the authorities investigation.

I also think that all users should readthis post before they buy a gmat course, considering that many students use this fórum and believe in the string of "perfect" reviews of new courses.
