I think i remember getting a small envelope from one of the ug schools i was accepted. Seeing a small envelope probably isn't a great sign... but it's certainly not a definite rejection.

oh man...colby college in maine sends acceptence letters in small envelopes. like you get a series of small envelopes if I remember right. I know there was no big envelope...that was scary as hell.

I remember in undergrad receiving a big envelope - I think from Carnegie Mellon - that said on the outside in huge bold letters something along the lines of "THE OFFICIAL BIG ENVELOPE".

I always thought that was pretty funny.
