Not sure I know what this is. i have a BB Pearl and I don't think I ever used the messenger that comes with it. Can you be a bit more specific on what it would mean or how it would help? (or maybe i am the only one so dense with technology )

Blackberry Messenger (BBM) is like the AOL Instant Messenger for blackberry users. It's more convenient than sending single text messages if you're having a long conversation. But then again, so is calling the person . I'm unsure if this would be more beneficial than the GMAT forums on here.

sounds like a good idea... with some initial thoughts around it...Potential???

how about outlining what this group will do...solve problems... which dont know if a messaging group is that good for...!

Conceptually messaging groups are to be formed

To engage someone for something on urgent basis...info\to do something...!
Run search based BOTs...pretty sure GMATClub wont venture...!

So for preparation standpoint don't know...!

But yes for those who are applying to schools they certainly need to connect in the right community of the people who are applying... I can bet such a messaging group can server a great purpose...! Lets have Walker comment on it... I'm sure we'll have a good perspective...!

It's difficult to say for me what additional value it will add for forum discussion. Maybe I don't familiar with technology, although it sounds pretty simple. By the way, we are intensively working on some very interesting solutions for mobile forum right now but for iPhone/iPod users so far...sorry. It's still not instant massaging but some specific and very useful functionalities. I guess one day we will develop something for BlackBerry.

Anyway, I will keep in mind this idea. Thanks!
