Are the dates correct on the 'Work Experience' section of part 1?

If so, I wouldn't do anything except hope that the adcom doesn't notice the discrepancy. As long as the dates are correct on the application, I doubt you'll have a problem with Kroll.

However, if the dates are wrong on both your resume and the work experience section, I would probably notify the adcom. Otherwise, if you do get an admit, its very likely you'll have trouble with the Kroll verification. It's my understanding that Kroll checks very little, but your employment dates are one thing they definitely will verify.

Well, I've managed to get positive and negative reactions on this one. :?

@MDF: Yeah, I have mentioned it correctly in the 'Work Experience section' . I still can't believe how I managed to overlook this on the resume. But the dates are correct on the other section. I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. However, would you go with my idea to write it in the 'Additional Information' section of Part II? Would you recommend that?

Re: Blooper on Resume [#permalink]
It looks like you're in a tough spot either way.

Personally, I would just say nothing and hope that they don't notice. It really is only two numbers that are incorrect (2010 should be 2011, in two places) I think there's a good chance they won't notice, and if that is the case, you certainly don't want to call attention to that. Remember, these people are reading hundreds, maybe even thousands, of applications.

But at the same time, I could picture some adcom member who is having a bad day dinging you for that...

Re: Blooper on Resume [#permalink]
Yeah I had a similar typo on my resume, had my GMAT on the resume and hit the wrong number when typing my verbal score. Can't decide whether to contact the AdCom about it or not, since I have it correctly on the application, and my GMAT official report was sent to them by GMAC.

I'm leaning towards letting it go since the overall score was right and I've reported it correctly in two other venues.
