Its 650-750 type of question. I took the GMATPrep and I got this question as the first one too. Naturally, I was a bit shocked too.

I dont know about real GMAT, but I have faced this too... BF CR as the first question in GMATPrep.

However, I noticed a trend (happened in either GMATPrep1 or 2 - dont remember which one). Also, quant score was between 45-48.

Not sure how true though..

Guys,

I took GMATPrep today. When I clicked NEXT button to start my verbal section, to my horror I found my first CR to be Bold Face one. Please help me on this one .....

Is it possible to get the first question as a tough BF CR ??? I thought first question is supposed to be one from easier pool ....

Agree with C.

A. is not the conclusion of the argument.
B. is not the part of the outcome.
C. seeds that are highly resistant to insect is an outcome of the development; "seeds produed by the genetic engineering is not cost effective" is the consideration that is against the outcome of the development in the first boldface.
D. second is not the prediction.
E. second doesnot provide the support to the argument's main conclusion i.e. increasing demard of fruits, grains, crops, vegetables that are grown without pesticides.
