Hello all,
First time poster and I have just finished taking my gmat and got a disappointing 580 (33Q/36V). I have studied for about a month, mostly OG and
manhattan gmat. In all of
my practice exams I have never scored so low in quant.
My
Mgmat practice scores ranged from 550 (first w/o studying) to 690 about a week or so before my exam with a 660,670,and 620 between them.
The questions on the quant were very different from anything I have seen in
OG or
Mgmat (strange # properties), not one overlapping sets question. Not trying to make up excuses it is just that I was caught off-guard and paid dearly for it.
I am going to reschedule my exam for one-month, and need a 600-620 score for
the programs I intend to apply for. I would really appreciate some advice on what I can do to give me that slight bump to the 600's, specifically something to boost my quant score.
For quant I was thinking about going back to the basics with the question banks from
mgmat and all 8 fundamental sets from Jeff Sackman. Thanks in advance.
