Hi all, I wrote the GMAT on 28nov19 and messed up the verbal section.
Scored V23 Q49 - 600 total.
I have been preparing for a year and from about 3-4 months properly. And was mostly focusing on verbal, I was pretty confident to score a Q49 from the start and had achieved. But this verbal is a big pain.
Things that went wrong.: My nerves got me during the exam. I was finding difficulty to spot any error in the verbal section. Was having a hard time focusing on the exam.
I have ordered my ESR today and I need some help to analyze it.
My target score is 650+ and will be giving my GMAT in the last week of December again.
Where should I target my focus on?
My preparation strategy till now.
Started preparing using
MGMAT guides.
Then I use to solve the problems in Gmat club (from all sources - this might have been a mistake.)
Bought the OG and OG verbal and solved and analyzed them.
Last 3 months.
For SC was studying from
GMATNinja lectures on YT.
For RC and CR only OGs.
Last 15 days only OG questions. and a few mocks.
My recent scores in descending order:
GMATPREP 2: 640 V28 Q49 oct 13
GMATPREP 1: 640 V28 Q49 jul 01 (repeat after an year)
GMATPREP 1: 510 V16 Q47 oct 2018
MGMATs:( was focused on mainly Verbals)
