I took the test today and got a 670. Q 42 and V 41.

The first three questions of quant I could not find an answer. I ended up guessing between two answers. I spent nearly ten minutes on the first three questions. From then on I was playing catch up. What blows my mind is that I took a GMATPREP test yesterday and scored a 770 Q 51. I dont even know what to study for the retake. :?:

still good score, but if you are sure of getting over 700+ then retake it after a while of reviews. you do not need to study anything. is 770 is your first attempt on GMAT PREP or you reinstalled the software and took it?

It was a reinstall but I never reviewed the test when I first took it as a diagnostic.

Congrats on 670, not a bad score at all, especially for the 1st time.

From my experience, math questions that are tested in GMATprep is limited. The real GMAT has a lot more 'strange' questions.

I have no doubt that you can obtain 700+ in no time.

What material should I study from? Going into the test I didnt think their were any concepts I didnt know. I reviewed all OG, GMAT paper test and GMATPREP and there was nothing I couldnt handle. Are the Manhattan GMAT and the Challenge problems necessary to do well on the GMAT?
