Booth long-term/short-term goals

Question

In Booth's part time application (maybe FT as well) they ask:
 What is your short-term career goal? (250 word max)
What is your long-term post-MBA goal? (250 word max)

The thing that is really throwing me is the 250 word max on these. Am I supposed to use most of my word limit like I am for traditional essays here? Please note these are in in a separate section of the application, not in the "essays" portion. There are 2 official essays, one of which already asks "Why are you seeking an MBA from Chicago Booth, and why is Chicago Booth’s Evening MBA your program of choice?" which I already believes wants me to touch on my short and long term goals. Would appreciate any thoughts!

I am not aware about Part time MBA, but the immediate post-MBA career goal and long-term post-MBA career goal in the FT MBA application form have a 250 'character' limit, and now 'word' limit.
That would be roughly 40-50 words. So in my opinion, rather than trying to use up the space, you would need to try and fit your answer in the provided space.

Hmm.....I think its best to clarify this with the admissions committee.

Here's my opinion...
The 250 words max. is the place for you state your goals and the reasons behind having such goals.

In the essay for Why Booth & Why Part-Time MBA, you will need to talk about the specific aspects of Booth that made it your preference, and also throw some light on why you choose to do a Part-Time MBA. Of, course you can relate some aspects of Booth to your short term and long term goals, but dont go beyond the surface level of mentioning your goals here in this essay. I think this should easy take 400 words.

For your reference, the FT MBA application has a 250 character limit on the goal, and NO word limit on the Why Booth essay, so it is expected that we talk in detail about our goals and how Booth is the right fit.
