Does anyone have specific tips for getting off of the booth waitlist? A lot of the stuff I've read seems either not actionable (ex. "focus on mindset!") or not relevant to Booth (ex. "Ask for feedback").
The instructions from the school say that Booth does not provide individual feedback, but that you can email to ask about the logistics of the process. In past years, apparently there was a waitlist manager but I am not seeing that anymore. A few questions:
1. Should I come up with a reason to email and restate that this is absolutely my number one choice? I'm told following guidance is the most important thing and the guidance is not to email for feedback... I guess this would technically be compliant but might send the wrong message.
2. Any ideas on ways to demonstrate genuine interest to try and improve my odds? Apparently, a lot of candidates do nothing and I'm willing to invest some time here.
3. Anyone want to share ideas from video essays that they submitted in the past that were effective and what they explicitly tried to communicate?
4. Other ideas/tips/tricks that would be unique to Booth?
Booth is my dream school.
