thank you!
My biggest problem right now is that I have no idea how likely it is for someone to get a job in IBanking say if I were to goto a school like Cornell or Duke, I have a very clear career path right now if I were to stay at my current job, which is manager->senior manager->partner, which isn't bad, and I'll probably make partner before i turn 40 (I'm 24 now). Although I'm not fond of the job right now, or this career, I would hate to blow 150k on a degree and end up in the same place. Basically I'm going to business school solely for the purpose of getting a career on wall street. I have no explanation for why I want to do this, except that I don't like my job now, and I like banking based on the thousands of pages of articles and books i've read over the past few years. what type of rationale are bschools looking for, from people who want to switch from consulting to Ibanking?
