Hi bschool2014,
Are you looking to convert your tech resume into a business school resume? If so, I hope the following is of help.
In almost all cases, your resume should be a one-page, professional resume, but it will likely be different from the resume you use when interviewing for a job. When you are interviewing for a job in IT, the prospective employer will want to learn all about your skills in coding, the programming languages you know, and technical processes with which you are familiar.
A prospective business school will want to understand how you have led and worked in a team, and about your communication skills. Instead of rattling off the tactics of a given project, and writing in an industry-specific language that business school admissions committees might not even understand, you need to think hard about the broader skills developed on a given project. You will need to translate what you may feel are obvious aspects of delivering a project, into a language that a business school admissions committee knows and about which they care.
Hope this was of help.
Cheers,
