I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. well, today doesn't seem to be the day... time for more waiting and page refreshing tomorrow for the folks here.

one more day has gone by and Ross is totally silent! ok, now I really really seriosly think they have just abandoned the calling practice. I mean ... they only have tomorrow left to make calls/ send emails, since Friday night is the decision time and schools normally don't call on the last day, hours before, the decision. Anyone with me on my assumption that we will not get called?

Maybe it's taking them longer to finalize their decisions due to the huge increase in applicants. Which means the pool of applicants was very competitive. Which means my chances of a ding has increased to almost certainty. Which means I'll spend the next two days not even thinking about it. I guess there's always a bright side.

Its a hung Jury about admits... 3 days doesnt seem to be enough for calling 500 odd admits..or even atleast 200 admits..while some of us might get calls (i hope ) we shudnt think no call = ding.

keep your phones charged. my prediction is the calls will go out tomorrow. Of course, i threw my phone away as Ross did not even invite me for an interview. Take deep breaths and drink lots of fluids. People with weak hearts should keep panic alarms with them, just in case they can take no more All the best to yall !

I got a ding email from Ross today... ...on my ZLI scholarship application. Dosa, may be my essay wasn't that good? Good luck to everyone waiting on R2. They should be calling people soon. Possibly tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that ncp. Well I think your essay was really great but you were not a good "fit" for the $'s? (you are probably making too much right now ). Sorry again Honestly- it does seem like that it is competitive for EVERYTHING this year...I heard some admits did not even get the Ross T-shirt
