I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Not sure how good they are for real estate IB though. 710 GMAT 3.6 GPA blah, blah, blah...we are all great in our own ways. Correct me if I am wrong, all admitted guys are from US, so I hope that this is means a little bit more hope for international applicants in other sidea of ocean.

Well, I'm torn. On one hand, I'm ecstatic to see all these GMAT clubbers admitted to a great school.

But on the other, less reasonable, football-oriented hand, a small part of me dies each time I hear about a future Wolverine fan in the making. It's like watching a train wreck in slow-motion!

Yes they have on BW forums.
And I think a couple of indians on this forum got in
There is not many internationals from other parts of the world to compare. For example there is only one other European (besides me) on BW forums, so we only have a sample of 2 Europeans which is wayyyyy to small to be representative. I think like 95% of the admits got called today, the gmatclub admission rate for R2 is already 50%, and there is a bunch of admits on BW... so there is not much room for more admits, it is not like Ross will accept everyone on these forums.
Yeah hope dies last... and we have waited for 72+ days so let's keep a string of hope for one more day huh?
I think if we are lucky we will get 1 admit on gmatclub tomorrow, and maybe another 1 on businessweek... and I think that is it. Unfortunately some of us have to get dinged

Congrats to all.

To those waiting for a call I'm sure it will come. A month or so ago it seemed everyone and their brother was getting calls from another one of my target schools a week + ahead of the deadline. I wrote them off until the morning of decision when I FINALLY got the call and a full scholarship to go with it. So Ross might be saving the best for last...

this is a very engouraging post, and a cool story
but anyways, what bothers me the most is that Ross was my safety school, and it really really really hurts when you don't get in your safety school. I find out about my dream school next week... and it will not hurt me much if I don't get in there, but to not get in Ross is really a blow to me

PS. the moral of the story: Don't overate yourself!

Yeah, let's go to INSEAD next year, they def. want internationals there! and since it is a 1 year program we will graduate in 2010 !!
