I have not officially decided to apply but one of my fellow managers went to Michigan and has almost convinced me to apply. From everything I have read they have pretty decent placement in IB. Not sure how good they are for real estate IB though. 710 GMAT 3.6 GPA blah, blah, blah...we are all great in our own ways. Honestly I dont know much about IESE (is it in Spain?). I think it comes down to where you want to work post-MBA. If you want to go to back to Europe, IESE might be a better option. If you want to work in the US for a few years and then return to Europe, then Ross is better. I have not researched this but did you compare global rankings (FT, EI)?

Also, think about your post-MBA career- if it is possible for us internationals to get that. Marketing and certain other fields might be much more difficult for us to break into in the US.

I dont know about you guys but one of the things that I am looking forward to in school is to interact and learn about the various cultures (cliched! I know:)) but only now has it sunk it truly. Even on this thread, we have like a bunch admitted from various parts- almost every region I think. I am sure it is the same in all the other schools...but this is exciting..FOUR more months...

I dont want to discuss it here, may be in new thread, but I think that it is really about where you want to live US vs. Europe. I must decide on this. Well, I have a long, long weekend ahead. In terms of rankings IESE is doing quite well, It was 1st in EIU for two years in row, just this year lost to Chicago and become 3rd, and the is case study school. Only factor which makes me concerned about Ross is continuing fall of US economy.
