Does Tepper send you a personal email by one of the committee members to inform the complete status of the application, or generate an automated email by the online application system that says that the application status has been changed?

Also, I looked through the forum and didn't see any discussion on Fee Waivers. What is everyone's experience with that? I rec'd one via e-mail and also from visiting Tepper's booth at an MBA fair.

I received a fee waiver in my email and I requested an interview before submitting my app. I interviewed in NYC and at the end my intetviewer handed me another fee waiver. I am hoping that was a good sign.

Stay positive. During the last week, the admissions process must have been slowed down due to the huge American holiday season, Thanksgiving.

Certainly, it takes a lot of courage to face multiple rejections. The good news is that we are still in a middle stage of the application cycle. Now is a great time to reflect on the weaknesses of your profile and try to improve them for the schools you may be applying during the 2nd round or later.

my app status has changed to "Application Complete pending Interview" ....
what does this mean ??? I haven't got any email from them yet...should i mail them ?

Yeah I guess I probably would. It's pretty late in the game. The email inviting you to interview may have gotten lost somewhere.

If you had sent a thank-you note over email, then, I think it is a nice gesture by the interviewer to send back a brief response to it. Nothing unusual.

On the other hand, if you had not initiated a thank-you note, and there was nothing in your application (including the interview) that requires your special attention (sending missing material etc.), it sounds a little unusual that the interviewer sent you an email out of the blue.

But the verdict would really depends on the actual content of the email you received. If it felt weird to you, you are probably right, since you know the situation best.

After interview my status has changed back to "Appication Under Review by the Admissions Committee"
looked kind of starnge, before interview call status was stage 3, then it changed to stage 2 and now back to stage 3..
Is it the same for everyone who have been interviewed.....

Thanks! How has been your life at Tepper so far?

As the decision date approaches (however slowly), I'd like to know the way of delivering the news by the adcom. Do they call admits (including internationals) or send emails to everyone regardless of the decision?

Tepper has been a great experience thus far. I will tell you that everyone is extremely busy, but in a good way. I can answer more specific questions if you have any, rather than just ranting. To your second point, admissions does not call admitted students. If you are admitted, you will most likely receive an email towards the end of the day.
