Hi,
I am awaiting the scholarship/financial assistance info. Did anybody receive any?

I received a FedEx right before the holidays with scholarship info. Seemed like they would be doing more decisions/$ notifications after the holidays though.

Cool stuff. How was your interview? Was it on campus/who was it with? Any crazy questions?

I'm interviewing on campus next week and as it is my first MBA admission interview i'm a wee bit nervous. Of course, Kelley is my clear #1 choice and IMHO the perfect fit for my background/goals, so hopefully that will come through.

Hey - interview was very casual. It was with a 2nd year student. Mostly basic questions about my experience, why do I want my MBA, why Kelley. I had done some extensive research so I had a lot to talk about. She did ask a couple questions about leadership experience and extracurricular activities, so just have examples ready to talk about and know your resume.

I would definitely recommend a visit to campus. The students, staff, professors, etc. are all very inviting and truly love Kelley, so it is great to see that firsthand.

Excellent. Thanks for the great details. I went to grad school at IU-Bloomington (in a program with joint MBA students) so i'm pretty familiar with Bloomington and Kelley. I can't wait to set foot on my old stomping ground.

This may sound stupid but some one who has undergone skype video interview, please tell me whta to wear?
Formal (with tie and a blazer)..
Or Business casual will do??

It has to be a formal attire(Tie and Blazer). Looks really good on the video.

Some tips while taking the interview on Skype:

Make sure there is enough lighting in the room.
Keep a data card(Tata, Reliance, etc) handy in case power goes off!
Make sure the back ground is neat (Curtains with pleasant color or a neatly painted wall will surely help).
Keep your mobile fully charged. Sometimes the Skype may crash in the Adcom's system (has happened to me once :D). Under such circumstances, the interview will be telephonic.
Login to Skype 15 minutes before the interview.
Make sure you have aligned the camera properly.
Make sure you don't give awkward expressions (looks really bad on cam).
