Thanks everyone! It looks like everyone is waiting on pins and needles for it and pass the time by replying crazy fast to a new gmatclub post :-)

I got a little bit of money from carlson but not enough for me to switch my choice between the two, even without any cash from Kelley.

So, looks like I will definitely be swinging in for KEW

I got a call too. I didn't really have any questions since I was caught off guard by the call and couldn't think of anything besides chit-chat (I think I've researched Kelley to death) but I think I'll reach out to some current students for housing recommendations so I can check out some places during KEW.

Got an interview invite, hope I can make it up there soon. It's crunch time for decision making for next fall.

Anyone have interview advice? are their interviews blind? I plan on going up to Bloomington for an on campus interview/visit, probably very soon since I want to lock down a school ASAP

Congrats on the invite. I see you got into Carlson too as it turned to green :roll:

On-campus interviews are conducted by 2nd-year students. I was told there were maybe 5? of them that do the interviews. They will only have your resume.

I had a very standard interview (why mba, why now, why kelley, career goals, etc.), with no odd questions at all.

I applied to Kelley in R2. I havent received any communication from the school so far. I dont have any hopes now and looking for a reject mail. That also hasnt been sent as of now. Would they send that on the decision deadline? when would I hear anything from the school?

my interviewer asked me a weird question:

if you have 8 basketballs, all of which are equal in weight except for one
and had a scale (like one with two sides to campare items)

how could you find the heavier ball with only two weighings?

The KEW overview keeps referring to a tentative schedule that we're supposed to review....so we know what time to get into Bloomington, where is the tentative schedule? Every attachment is the overview...

I think its now little apt to ask this question..
R2 applicant..Indian..No interview invite till now..can i still expect something(interview/admit)?

I visited Kelley in Aug 2010 and was blown away by the amazing campus.I was in the pursuit of perfect place to study management and Kelley just won my heart !I met Prof Wisneski(Director of Consulting Academy) and Tim Smith.
I was not ready for any interview then and had not even expected one..but Tim happened to ask all but routine questions,which obviously i was not ready for.
not sure if this interaction would be qualified as a formal interview !
Any one else in the same boat?
Are folks still getting i/v call?
