I was admitted with a Dean's Fellowship (full scholarship), but I'm having trouble deciding if IU is right for me. As far as I can tell, they aren't super strong in either of my career paths (consulting/Ibanking). If you were admitted to a higher ranked school (Ross, Fuqua, Stern) with no $, would you go with the school with more "prestige" and stronger connections with your target firms, or the better value? Will the fact that I was awarded with the fellowship improve my odds at landing with a top consulting/ibanking firm?

Also, does anyone want to share a ride for the Kelley Experience Weekend? I get into IND on Friday at 12:10pm and my departing flight is Sunday at 5:20pm.

I have a similar situation where I got $$ at another school and none at Kelley but I think Kelley is a better fit for my career goals and the overall culture so I get the struggle (although a full scholarship would make it way more difficult). For me, I think it is going to come down to fit over $$ but I'm trying to justify it that I'd "normally" choose the "safe" route (i.e. better value) and I might end up regretting it later, knowing myself. I'm sure you have probably already done this but you can ask the career center @ Kelley about specific firms and their placement and involvement with them.

I'd totally share but I'm flying in late Thursday to possibly partake in Friday events and/or start looking for places to live.

As we get closer we should try and set something up for a gmatclub get-together, drinks, etc. I will actually be getting in on Wednesday to meet up with some of my IU friends, look for places, etc. I believe on friday they have some CMA event/presentation (mentioned on this thread earlier, and confirmed by the 1st year who gave me the call). No other specifics on that but as we get closer should hopefully get more.

Any scholarship/graduate assistantship info would be included in the hard copy packet you get. They send out a nice leather binder, so it took 9 days for me to get the package.
