What's everyone doing on Friday? I think I'm going to check out some of the CMA presentations, the entrepreneurship keynote, the GLOBASE presentations and plug a building tour in there some place. And hopefully a nap some time during the day before the welcome reception thing.

I won't be doing the building tour as I had all that and more from my interview visit, but my plan includes:

(1) the KIP/Globase chat;
(2) at least one of the CMA presentations;
(3) try to squeeze in some of the entrepreneurship activities; and
(4) try to squeeze in some of the life sciences event.

There are only so many hours in the day I'm afraid.

For anyone around Wednesday evening/night and/or Thursday evening/night, i'm up for checking out local eating/drinking spots.

Guys,

Received my package with GA offer.

Its getting more interesting to choose between Mccombs and Kelley.

Will be reaching Indianapolis Thursday 11:00 AM.

Hi All,

Looking forward to meeting those who are attending KEW. I changed my flight last week to arrive Friday morning at 9:30 AM instead of late Friday night. It turned out that there were many more worthwhile events on Friday than Sunday.

If anyone will be arriving Friday morning and is renting a car, I would appreciate a ride (instead of waiting an hour and twenty min for the shuttle). I'm happy to contribute to gas for the trip so send me a PM and let me know.

I actually have the same exact decision between kelley and mccombs but I'm all about the cpg program at kelley and I think it's a slam dunk kelley decision for me. Good luck!

Hi,
I am an infrequent visitor. Have admits to kelley and kenan-flagler with fee waiver at both places. Have to make a decision. I am an international student with non-finance background and post-MBA I plan to switch to finance. Insights in the strengths of the two schools is solicited.

Anyone having to decide between Kelley and Darden?

I've been accepted at both, but only got $$ from Kelley.

I have 3 years WE in sales at Procter & Gamble and post-MBA I want to continue with Consumer Marketing, but make a transition from Sales to Brand Management.

I appreciate any insight!

If you were a banker or finance focus I'd tell you Darden, but since you are a consumer marketer, Kelley is by FAR your best bet. Not only because Kelley is a world renown marketing program, but because the Consumer Marketing Academy (an academy I'm not even in) will get you a top CPG internship. Also, keep in mind that most CPG companies are located in the Midwest, and not nearly as many are located in DC or surrounding areas.

They provided the data at the KEW sessions yesterday.

I believe the 2nd year placement percentage is ~74% as of Friday, which is tracking something like 6% higher than last year at this date. They did not break it down by domestic vs. internationals. I would put in a call/email to career services. They should have the stats and should be able to help you.

It was also mentioned that internship offers are looking very positive. Last year 100% received internships and they are shooting for that number again this year.

Wow...hands down to Kelley.
It was an amazing experience and I can bet kelley is perhaps the best place for a supportive and collaborative learning environment.

I am leaning more towards kelley now after my visit..its just amazing.
