I applied for the January 2021 Intake, Round 3. I received an email from my AO that I was accepted for the January 2022 Intake instead of January 2021, and it was recommended I work an additional year to gain more experience. Has anyone else received a similar email? I'm glad I was accepted but this changes my timeline. Is there any possibility of attending in January of 2021? Thanks in advance.
It quite surprising that INSEAD offers intake different from the ones that you apply. I think it’s mainly because 21D is overcrowded now, with the deferrals from previous batches, not to mention there’s gonna be R4.

It really depends on your personal preference, but joining 22D may not be a bad thing. As of today Singapore immigration is still not issuing new student visa to INSEAD students, so it’ll be a mixture of online and offline class. French COVID cases are surging, so there’s a chance that classes go online. Campus exchange to US MBAs are being done online, which kinda loss it’s value. Other factors may also include economic downturn and recession upon graduation. These are the reasons many students are deferring from 21D to later batches.
Those are something you can consider, But after all it’s still your personal decision. Hope it helps.

Do you know what's the progress like on the Singaporean government front to allow visas? Do you think it is likely for 21D students to study on campus in Singy?

Singapore Immigration is slowly opening up, and I think the chance for 21D students to study on campus is high.

From the feedback of 21J folks, the process is pretty straight forward. Most of them got the visas to enter Singapore. However, the current practice is that SG gov will assign each person 14 days to arrive SG as they want to control the number of people entering the country.

For me it took 4 days. But INSEAD received my undergrad transcript from my university before sending the acceptance letter. Not sure whether the acceptance letter is relevant to transcript or not.

Dear All,
this is Filippo, J21 Intake! I've been told there is a group of INSEAD students; could you please invite me?

My insead email: filippo.principi@insead.edu

Question: Would you recommend the "Business Foundation" course even though I studied Management Engineering or preparing trough the recommended books is enough to warm up for P1?

Thanks and best regards,

Filippo

Hi guys,
I am an R3 applicant who has been asked to re-take the GMAT.
Just submitted my new scores today. I have some questions:
- how likely it is I will find a spot in Jan21? HAve any of you been suggested to start in September 21?
- AOs recommend targeting 70-75 percentiles in GMAT. My percentiles are V68% and Q86%. Should this be fine?
Thanks a lot!

I think you should be fine, sounds like your overall score is +700 right? I am also assuming that you were asked to re-take the GMAT before getting to the interview stage, is that right?

Yes 700.
Yes I was asked to retake it before the interview stage. Today I’ve just got an answer from my AO. She suggested I be included in R1 September 2021 intake. Clearly the Jan intake is packed.
Now I guess I will just follow the process of R1.
Good luck guys.
