I am an R2 applicant.

What does the second part of the following message indicate "Your application for admission to the Berkeley Full-time MBA program is under review by the Admissions Committee. Please visit the web site again and log in with your user name and password on or after the decision date for the round in which you applied to check your application status"?

My application status shows that it is under review. However, that message was a bit unnerving.

Got an interview invite yesterday! Actually it may have arrived Sunday. I applied in R2. Random speculation-- I applied from NC, maybe this drew an earlier invite (b/c maybe there are no/few alum to interview there and thus it is easier to interview me on campus?)

Now I can go back to reading this board, it was making me too nervous before :?

Good luck everyone.

Hotel Durant
Bancroft Hotel

those two you can walk to campus.

Some people stay in the Mariott in Emeryville, but it's hard to get there without a car.

Thanks!

My father, who got his degree (non-MBA) at Berkeley said that he lived at the Durant for a month when he moved out there. Said it was a great place to "score dope." Older hippies. Always amusing....

Yup, can't deny that it is a quirky place. But the bar downstairs (Henry's) is good. :P

I'm worried that an interview invite may have gone to the Spam folder and I deleted it. Anyone who has received an invite - does it show on your status page at the application site? Was it only emailed, or did you receive a call too?

Thank you in advance!

Would you know it- the Haas blog finally got an update! As an R2 applicant I was interested to read:

Round 2 Interviews
Round 2 interview invitations began going out last week, and will continue to be sent up until shortly before the Round 1 response deadline. There is no specific order in which they are sent, although for the Super Saturday interview day, priority is given to US applicants who live outside of California.

As we note in our informational materials, most of the interviews are conducted by our trained alumni interviewers, and all have equal weight in the admissions process, whether they take place in Dubai or Detroit. For details about preparing for an interview, please listen to our podcast at https://mba.haas.berkeley.edu/admissions ... -tips.html.
