wait-list w/interview Any ideas about what to add to the application?

If you interviewed, are you automatically put on the waitlist? Or does it explicitly say waitlist as your decision?

Ding without interview. It's officially an R1 ding hat trick for me. I'm excited about my R2 schools though, and keeping my fingers crossed.

Its not automatic, we all could have been dinged. It explicitly says waitlist, and to look for more details in the email (which i still haven't gotten). Its better than a rejection, but I just want this process to be over. 2 wait lists this week! Time to get drunk and drown my sorrows! Congrats to everyone that got in!
