I will start my EMBA in Chicago booth in Summer 2017.

I was wondering how can I best utilize my time till then to ensure that I am hitting the ground running and that I am ready for Day 1.. I know it may be the wrong forum to ask this, but was hoping to hear your thoughts and any tips you can share so I can start preparing.

I would recommend doing MBA Math if you have any concerns in that area, and also, READ. The EMBA is largely about sharing experiences and knowledge. I would recommend reading books on leadership, teamwork, innovation and organizational change to get a leg up. If you are stuck in Chicago traffic, audiobooks

Hi mate, not sure if you are done with your interview but I will share my 2 cents anyway

Things that worked (I think

) for me were that a) I stuck to my essays b) I rehearsed my responses in such a way that I sound natural during the interview. My interviewer was very nice - we ended up talking about his experience at Booth. It was a great discussion. From ques perspective, it was pretty standard set - why MBA, why Booth, why now, what's special about you, what will you bring to the class, what are you expecting from the course, etc. I hope you fare well - all the best!!!
