well Boston college takes the applications on a rolling basis....like i have my interview after jan 15th...though i submitted in round 1....

since you are done with the interview....they will take a look at your apps and let you know about it at the maximum of three weeks ......but yes you will get the result irrespective of the round consideration.....good luck !!!!

done with my interview....a second year grad student conducted it....overall the interview experience was very good and the grad student asked me a lot of questions about my career choices and my decisions. He even asked the reason why i want an mba right now......no tough questions....and it was very conversational....

good luck to others....would let you know once i have the decision....

Good luck garuda! make sure you are prepared to answer what other schools you are applying to and why you want to pursue MBA at BC. I think this q came up many times..

hey thanks man....and i am such a stupid person...i did not see your post.....ha ha....would have helped me if i checked it out.....anyway...i did manage to give a reasonable answer to the - which other schools ? question....my interviewer in fact apologized to me....that he was forced to ask the question....because they were benchmarking their school with others....

i do think that when you mention that u have other admits with schols.....it kind of lets them know which other schools have considered you to be a potential mba student.....and would in a way leverage your app profile....

just my thoughts though....

Applied R1, Interviewed in December, Wait listed only days later

It looks like 20% made it in off the waitlist last year and I am curious to know if anyone has been accepted off the list yet this year... Please post your profile

Profile: 660 GMAT, 2.9 GPA from mid-tier undergrad, 5 years in business with excellent track record of promotions and increased responsibility, strong recommendations, since being waitlisted I have submitted an additional rec and emailed 2x

received the package from boston...have admitted me with scholarship....merit award + assistantship....

would love to go to boston college....but other schools have given offers which are financially more viable for me.. !

so would be declining the offer from boston college.....good luck to all other applicants and to those in the wait-list !

I am an R2 applicant and I was invited to interview a few weeks ago. I had my interview last Friday afternoon. I heard that Carroll gets significantly more applications during R2 than R1. That could be what is holding things up for some of you guys. Good luck!
