I thought I'd start a topic for Chicago Booth as well. I was a waitlister and rejected last year, and it was definitely not a fun process, but I do like that Booth does offer the ability to contribute additional materials to your application. I also wanted to provide a forum for some tips and "things I wish I knew" when I was a waitlister.
Given that it seems Booth has a large waitlist this year, I thought it would be helpful to have this topic. Mods, I didn't see one for this school, but feel free to close if need be.

Are people getting confirmation from admissions that they got your waitlist materials? I received a confirmation email regarding the first update I sent (sent after R1 notification, but before R2 notification), but I haven't gotten anything from the second one (sent after R2 notification).
