Anyone started to think about the DJ weekend and apartment hunt?

Tal - I registered, DJ weekend is going to be awesome! Looking forward to returning to Ithaca (My interview last month was on a Thursday but I ended up staying the entire weekend!)

Definitely, wonderhaven, DJ is gonna to be such a great weekend. I also spent a weekend in Ithaca earlier this year, which gave me a glance into what my life outside of class might look like next year, and it's looking pretty damn good (yes, even in the winter). I'm planning to use the DJ weekend for some apartment hunt and roommate selection ...will probably be looking for a place in College Town, close to all the action :punk
By the way there is a Facebook group for admitted 2011 students, you guys should probably join at some point.

Congrats to all the Johnson Admits.
Those who didn't get admitted, I have no doubt in my mind that your hard work and dedication to achieving your goals will pay off at other top schools.

For my friends on the waitlist, this was posted this morning in the "Ask The Johnson School Admissions Office" thread on businessweek.

The admissions committee is reviewing all waitlisted applications now, including those in R2. Please send your additional information as soon as you can.

You may request feedback on your waitlisted application. Please send your request to mba@cornell.edu and include a summary of what you think the weak points are in your application. If your request is granted, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. We will begin giving feedback to waitlisted applicants in late Spring.

I spoke with my app manager this morning and she mentioned that no waitlist decisions are going to be released today. Maybe tomorrow?

I called admissions office this morning... why is everyone in that office always in such a rush and sound like they need to defuse a bomb right after they hang up with me?!!

It was super short with no useful information. Just had to vent.

wht was the useless info they gave u!

atleast u got them on the line.. I am tired of calling up multiple times and being directed to the voicemail.

This waiting game sure sucks big time. I hate being a bencher :x

He just said I should follow the instructions provided in the waitlist email - everything else comes down the road. There is no feedback / input I can get at this point.

Do we know when they will make majority of their decisions about the waitlist?

Thanks Raabend. I am trying really hard not to stalk them everyday. This was my second call since December - guessing thats not too bad. I have just gotten antsy in the last couple of weeks.

A current MBA / MHA Johnson student suggested that I call the adcomm and ask if they need anything else from me after my little waitlist letter - but they didnt really want to talk to me about that. I will back off now. Sigh.

Unfortunately from what I have heard/read, the majority of decisions from wait list come in June :cry:

but I remain hopeful that we will all get off the wait list by friday :-D
