So I finished my interview (via Phone) on Monday and my online app status says complete and that a decision will be made and notification sent by decision date for Round 4.
Does Cornell reserve all decisions until the decision date, or will they release decisions as they are made?
BTW, interview went fairly well. It was straightforward, and though a bit lengthy, really allowed me to explain who I was and why an MBA. Good luck to other R4'ers.

I was told that all R4 decisions will be released May 6th. Best of luck!
Spoke to the processing staff. Have been told that they havent forwarded an invite in a long time.Furthermore, The class is nearly full & they dont expect many invites to be sent out in the remaining few days.

Thanks for the update. I already interviewed early this month, but no decision yet. I'm a Round 3 applicant, but it seems like I'm being reviewed with Round 4 applicants. Can't figure out a reason to not post me as W/L. Is this good or bad??

Honestly, I would take this as a good sign. Just hang in there. If they weren't interested they would have just given you a decision.
Has anyone heard about waitlisted applications? CLEARADMIT says the adcom just started the round 1 waitlist as of 4/21. Is it fair to say that Adcom sees waitlisters on equal footing with Round 4? I'm a little low on quant, so I've been taking math classes and stats classes to send trascripts to Adcom. I can't find an additional recommender, tho.

How full is the class of 2012? (scary)
Anyone have any info/suggestions?

I would ask adcom. If I had to guess, I think the 2 dates to watch as a waitlister are May 6th when R4 applicants are notified, and June 1st, the R4 deposit deadline. According to Ammin's post, the class is nearly full. I read that as being around 210+ students.
This is a new low in my life . I will have to go to a school ranked somewhere between 40-45 on UsNews if cornell doesnt accept me.
My fear is when i wake up on June 24 2019 to leave for work at a ramshackle corporate finance firm in a rundown midwestern town, I might sigh......Gee! IF only....cornell would have accepted me...... My life would have turned out different.
did you try apply CMU? they are still accepting applications. i believe there are still some schools rank b/t 20-39 are still taking applications. or try next year? there will be a way for u
and hey, not all the people work in big firm were graudaute from top colleges.... ranking won't decide your future.
cheers my brother

Just out of curiosity, did anyone apply, or is actually matriculating to Cornell because of the SGE Immersion? I'm in that immersion this semester, but I'm not a Johnson School student (Im in another school). However I have been throughly impressed with the caliber of people I've met. Congrats to all, and don't discount SGE despite what people might say once you get here (cough...IB).

At Destination Johnson we were told that Cornell had a high yield this year (I think 72%). Randall said it makes his job much tougher. Since Cornell is a small school the adcom has to be very careful about who they accept from here on out. Sage Hall has limited space and even they over-enroll it would make for a very difficult situation.
thanks for the info. I checked the class sizes; 2009: 319, 2010: 278. If you're estimating that ~210 students are already slotted after rd 3, doesn't that mean about *about* 60~100 spots for the rd 4 and waitlist candidates?
How big is the total waitlist anyways, anyone know?

Best, Gravey
Gravey, Where did you get the 210 figure from?

There are 238 people in the JGSM FB group (AMBA + 2 year), and maybe ~30 are first and second year students?
