For those who applied in R2, does everyone now see their status changed to "under review" in the online application system?

I submitted on Nov 7th, but the status is still "submitted"...

Was your friend placed on the waitlist? If yes, did s/he have a chance to interview prior to being placed on the waitlist?
Good luck!

His words- "My application was still being processed after the decision date....". So he definitely didn't have an interview. But I think he meant that his status didn't change to "waitlisted" after the decision date

Yes me too. My application status is still "submitted".

Is there any international candidate having his/her application under review?

Dear All,

I finished my Adcom phone interview(R1) on 11/5/2010, but the status is still interview scheduled. Is there any candidate having this problem?

Any insight would be much appreciated!

Had my interview today over the phone. Probably could have gone better, it is always hard to tell over the phone.

Why MBA?
Why now?
why Cornell?
Where else did you apply and why?
What's plan b if your business fails?
Why not just keep running your business? There are plenty of successful entrepreneurs without MBAs.
Some questions about my motivation and background.
Why would you be a good Park fellow? (this one threw me a bit, but I think I did alright.)
What are the qualities of a good entrepreneur?
Any questions for me?

When I first called in, no one picked up, so I left a message. Then I called back a few minutes later and was answered right away. By then it was a few minutes past my interview time but I felt odd trying to explain that I had just called and no one picked up, so I just hoped my interviewer didn't think I was late. The interviewer mentioned that they may release round 2 decisions early but it wasn't likely.

Good luck to all with interviews coming up! :)

I logged in yesterday and had the same status. Looks like it just takes awhile for it to be updated post interview.

My status was updated after interview to "you application is sent to selection committee for final review. We will post your decision by........................" within few minutes of the interview. I had a telephonic interview with an adcom member.

Earlycareer MBA,

From your list of programs, I assume CU's Leeds School is your fallback. If so, your worst case scenario is spending two years in Boulder, CO. You could do a lot worse. Boulder is a great city to live in and to pursue entrepreneurial interests. I went to CU for my undergrad.

I'm leaning towards applying to Johnson R3.

You're right, it is a fallback. I've just been invited to interview there. Pretty good program in a beautiful area. I've visited Boulder a few times now. Even if I didn't go to school there, it would be a great place to live in the future.

I attended an info session on campus over the summer and was surprised to learn that many of the MBA students live in Denver and commute in for class.

Good luck with your Cornell application!

I am a round 1 applicant and just received an email for an interview. All candidates out there, please do not lose hope. There is a lot of fight remaining in all of us. Keep your hopes up!!

Do you suggest to visit the Cornell campus or schedule/call to setup an alumni interview. Kindly advise?? Thanks so much!

First of all, congrats to NikkiMBA. I think it depends largely on where you live, but visiting the campus is always good. If you are from the West Coast, you should definitely visit, as Ithaca is cold. I mean, c.o.l.d. Northface will be your favorite brand.

Even though the decision date is 12/20/10, I guess the invitation is still going out. It seems like we 2nd rounders need to hang tight oh.... couple more weeks? Should've applied 1st round.

Thank you Chostein - yes just keeping fingers crossed. I will most likely visit Ithaca. Btw I completely hear ya when you talk about colde. NORTHFACE is already my favorite brand as I am in Chicago and the temperature has been in the late teens this week!!! Hang tight and good luck!!!
