It looks like, for those of us who have not heard anything, no news is good news - or at least, it's not bad news. I just spoke with someone in admissions and she gave me inkubus04's dreaded "your application is still with the director" response. However, she said the director was looking at applications as we speak and that I should call back on Tuesday if I haven't heard by then.

So, hang in there folks! I'll post here if/when I hear or with what they tell me on Tuesday.

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in. GMatclubbers will be in high numbers at Darden this year. I count 30+ after 2 rounds. Almost 10% of students.

Has anyone else tried logging in to the portal? Mine says I do not have access. I remember reading First Round Admits having this problem as well so I am not too worried.

As for housing from what I could tell the student population seems split between Ivy Gardens and Huntington Heights. @Chicken15 My low sampling showed that the more attractive girls were at Ivy Gardens.

I will be checking my mailbox daily next week for the package.

Yep, same problem here. I tried to send a message "requesting access" but I haven't received a response yet.

Perhaps there might be a login/password in the admission packets? Do any R1 admits have any insights?

I'm not Round 1 but I initially couldn't get in (this AM) and filled out the request access form thingy and the next time I tried again (few hours later) it worked. Have you tried again since submitting the form?

Does anyone know what the schedule is like for Darden Days? I'm trying to make sure I schedule enough time to look at housing, etc but I don't know how much time on the 1st I'll have.

Hello fellow classmates! I am Li Jian from China and have been accept to darden (with 1/2 scholarship!!!) I feel very happy to finally get into american mba school, although the road is very long and dark, but i feel it is worth the fight.

here are my stats:
gmat... 630
gpa... top 90% from famous chinese university in shanxi province
work experience... 2 years of investing
extra...i have won many english competitions and i translate

i congratulate all of you and hope you all choose darden. i look forward to us making a lot of money in companies like goldman sachs! and i very look forward to meeting beautiful american girls (mostly blonde, hehe). I will look into ivy as well to be close to them.

630 gmat and a ding from Duke, UNC, Cornell, Yale, Emory, and a couple of waitlists....yet 1/2 scholarship? wow. must have had a stellar interview?
