You're right. Fwiw, this is a post that another member posted over at Consortium thread. "I got that email from Darden, signed on, and it said I was waitlisted. I went back on a few minutes later and it wasn't there anymore. I guess I know my decision LOL" I guess they had an incident like Ross's.
