I think the bschool W/L is a better situation than the UG waitlist.
Also I am not sure if this is a good news or not, but the leaked USnews ranking has us dropping 2 places from last year . But maybe this will mean a couple more slots for the W/L.

Haha, I wouldn't get too upset about it BillyJeans...we all still know Duke's rightful place as a great school and this reaffirms my hopes that UVA is on at or near on par with Duke
Update from my side.....Applied for FTMBA, but admissions committee recommended for WEMBA. Interviewed on 4/13 for WEMBA and today I am in for Duke WEMBA program.............Finally I got what I wanted.
I was waitlisted in R2 but am interested as to how it works. Were those that were waitlisted in EA or R1 asked if they wanted to stay on the waitlist or receive any type of correspondence at the other notification dates?
I was also waitlisted in round 2, and I was told in a conversation with an admissions representative that if you are waitlisted and do not hear anything on the round 3 decision date your chances of getting off the waitlist are greatly diminished.
One might infer from this statement that most of the people who will get in from the waitlist will hear tomorrow, or at least in the next week or two.
I was waitlisted R1. So in R2 some people were dinged and some were admitted off the waitlist. When they checked their status, their letter had changed and I believe that they received an e-mail asking them to check their status. If you remained on the waitlist you heard nothing. So if you hear nothing tomorrow, it means you are still on the waitlist. It was kind of hard hearing nothing last time. It would be nice if they did ask you if you'd like to remain on the waitlist.
If i recall correctly, the decisions for both regular applicants and waitlisted applicants were released simultaneously in prior rounds. However, decisions as a whole were released much later in the day (4pm EST vs 12pm for round 3)
Anyone know for sure that this was the case? Also, when is the round 3 deposit deadline?
