What brightens my day is looking at your profile picture and imagining that is an actual photo of you as you encourage us with Duke's calls for heterogeneity. Obviously, as the smartest dog alive, you're a shoo-in at Fuqua and everywhere else you applied and not just because you fill their animal quota. (seriously, I have nothing better to do right now). Your 6 years of work experience is more like 42 (top that) and, as long as you avoid frenzied excitement/accidents, you'll have recruiters fawning all over you. Also your shorter life-span really puts some urgency into the Why MBA, Why Now essay.

Can you imagine a puppy (is not a grown-up dog yet) being your fellow peer at Fuqua? It will be very entertaining. Looks like this application is strong indeed... by the way, the puppy's name is Gami.

I just received an e-mail response from an Admissions Counselor at Duke and told Fuqua is planning to send the announcements out Monday morning - March 8th.

Let's now try to enjoy ouy weekend (long weekend indeed)... lol

Haha, exactly. I cant remember if they've done this already or not. Well, not the business school part but the Brian's son part. Although, having Brian's son go to b-school since Brian is the exactl opposite of the b-school type is almost perfect. Actually, having him join the military might be better.

I have to admit that I was slightly hoping to know decisions by today because on the chance I actually got accepted, I could practice being a Cameron Crazie in my living room while I watch the Duke/UNC game @ Cameron on Saturday.

Hmm, even though he's admitted at UNC? :?

Maybe you can avoid picking sides just yet but instead practice jumping up and down in front of your seat for as long as you can. To me, that seems like it will be the hardest part of being an NCAA basketball fan. If I get accepted at Fuqua, I'll probably quit work a few weeks earlier and really hit the gym to tone up my calves to ensure I'm in game shape by November.

I never said I would default to UNC if I didn't hear from Duke. I will simply watch as a fan of college basketball, who happened to apply to 3 ACC universities, and relishes the chance to watch two of those battle it out in the best rivalry in college hoops and in one of the most storied and envied venues ever. :-D

Soo excited about the results... I'll be at work on Monday and the results will come out around 5:00 p.m. in my time region... I guess I won't be able to make any contribution to my job on monday... :) SORRY BOSS!!!! :(
