What value should I use for number of months of work experience?

Work exp till date or Work exp till Aug 09.

I had asked the question to a the ISB Admissions director and she told me to write it till date, and will definately calculate the remaining time themselves.

Guess it applies here too..

guys,

which font are you using? I found that Times New Roman and Arial are both good, though personally like Tahoma. Any "standard" font AdCom likes?

It specifically asks on the app to calculate the amount of work experience you'll have up until enrollment (Aug '09).

Don't worry if you are less that the two pages as long as you are happy with the content. Mine is 1100 and I am going crazy fitting it in the two pages.

Last night I spoke to a current Duke student,who knew other students who work in ad com.
He was beating to death the importance of this essay. So do your best on this one !

Same here..The coming weekend will be dedicated to this one.
I am thinking of pruning my essay a bit. I definitely don't want it that long.

It took me a LONG time before I thought my LOC essay was good enough to submit.

I still got it nowhere near where I'd like it. But for that to happen, I'd need another 2 or 3 pages.

I think the premise of my essay is really good, but it was really hard to fit everything I wanted to say in the two pages.

It felt like I was leaving so much out.

Oh well....

me too.. mine still resembles trash.. its getting increasingly difficult to cut out certain portions of what i have done so far.. if i dont then it clearly says that i dont need any MBA.. on the other hand if i cut too much then it means that i lack the moral fibre to justify that i can become a LOC.. it should be like a skirt.. enough to interest and sufficient to interest.. :-)

LOC is a beast. And I spent so much time on it. And thought it was done. Then I reread it, after not reading it for 3 weeks. And I started to smell something terrible. As I was reading it, i had this terrible stench in my nostrils. Then I wandered to dishwasher, and found that a plastic covering of a piece of tuppleware was on the bottom of the dishwasher heating coil, and had melted.

Just not a good sign. I mean in general. But I dont know what to do.

My LOC talks maybe in too much abstract. I start with a veyr relevent and interesting anecdote from personal experience, but then I worry i get too preachy. Maybe not.
