Who is still waiting for a decision. I've turned on the TV and am expecting a decision a 4:59ish. Why would it be easy?!? Lol

why didnt you make sure they had your us number ? anyway its no biggie. somebody posted that he got a admit call and missed it but saw the admit email later.

What I want to understand is if they actually dinged anyone at all?
I didn't get an interview call but the mail said I'm on the wait list which doesn't make any sense to me.

Should I just consider it as a ding or is there any hope?

Last year 100% admits were interviewed, but who knows. Can you do an applicant initiated interview this late in the rounds or no?

I'm in India, I don't recall there being an option of an applicant initiated interview over gtalk/skype/handphone. But I'll go through their site again. This is really weird

Yeah interview standards differ among programs. Some you can initiate before submitting, others interviews are invite only. ND had applicant initiated interviews in their earlier rounds (I did one myself this fall) not sure about this late in the game though. If you can, you definately should based on last years numbers.

thats really strange. did you get a letter ( snail mail ) asking you to fill out a form ( its an attachment on the mail too ) ? the form is to state that you are interested in staying on waitlist. ( those who dont are not considered i suppose).

business week lists an interview as very important to get in. plus see the statistics of people admitted. all of them have been interviewed..

There isnt an option to self initiate an interview.
One of my friends was Wled w/o i/v...
He was i/v ed in the later round...
So hang on...
Or just write to Andrew Sama...
