Who knows I think they had round 3 deposits due on June 1, not sure if there is a second deposit required or not. Perhaps an admitted student could weigh in? Waitlisters will just have to keep waiting but I would guess that if no one gets off in the next couple of weeks then you are in for a long summer.

I'm not sure I understood the question right. I was admitted in R1 and have paid two deposits. $1k (in March) followed by $500 (June 1 deadline).

I applied in round 2 and was admitted off the wait list in round 3. The total deposit amount is $1,500. Applicants admitted in rounds 1 and 2 were able to break that into two payments; $1,000 + $500. Applicants admitted in round 3 and afterward are required to pay the full deposit in one payment.

Best of luck to all those on the wait list!

Dear hopeful Georgetown U full-time MBA applicants,

Has anyone had any good news from McDonough and been admitted off of the waitlist? (Specifically since the first week of June)

So....the good news is: People in my class got in off the waitlist as little as 2 days before orientation started.
The bad news: people in my class literally got off the wait list 2 days before orientation started.

There's hope, but it can be really disruptive and crazy. Hope to see you all next month.

One applicant who recently joined the admitted student Facebook page reported that he was accepted about 3 weeks ago. Good luck!

Sadly, I just rescinded my acceptance so that should free up a spot for someone from the waitlist. Ugg terrible feeling.

Hey everybody,

I'm in the Navy (currently stationed in Bethesda, MD), and am looking into applying to Georgetown early 2011. I have to go with the part-time program because of work commitments. Does anyone, or has anyone applied/been accepted to the part-time program? If so, what was the application experience like? Thanks in advance for any replies. Also, what do you all think a solid GMAT score for G-town would be?
