Application: May 2, 2024
Interview Invitation: May 7, 2024
Interview: May 8, 2024 (I lucked out that a slot suddenly opened, so I interviewed within a day of getting an invite)
Decision: May 17, 2024 ("Congrats, you're an Illini" e-mail)
Notice of Admission: May 22, 2024 (official admission letter from the Graduate College)

The interview was very casual and lasted about 20 minutes.
I definitely recommend logging into your Zoom account 5 minutes early as we started about a minute early.

I have accepted the offer of admission and I'm currently taking some of the onboarding courses, but I am not sure if I will officially enroll in the Fall yet as I am still figuring out how I will finance the degree (my workplace will not pay and I will not take out private student loans).

So far the entire process has been pretty straightforward and the office is very responsive when I have a question.

Gies is the only MBA program I have interest in so I really hope things work out!
