Alright...well, I think I'm going to give my nerves a rest and just focus on work for now. Maybe since R3 and R4 are smaller pools compared to R2, they decided to make the calls in the afternoon. That or the worst...boo!

What if they are reading and following this forum and decided to challenge the status quo by changing this year's process?

Seems farfetched to me. They wouldn't let a forum dictate their actions and policies.

Ugh. The suspense is killing me!

Luckiky I have two huge upsides to not getting in: I get to spend more time with my adorably addictive newborn daughter. Also, I may be able to afford to buy a home in the Bay Area, lol. :)

That said, I want this!! Do the rest of you have upsides to not getting in? :)

I like the way you think - go positivity!

Let me get back to you on the upside to not getting in :)

My upside would be that I wouldn't need to fly back and forth every weekend, I'd be able to spend time with the wife on the weekends, I'd be able to actually watch Cal Football games in the fall (as opposed to sitting in class unable to watch Goff carve up the Stanfurd defense), and I'd be taking evening classes half a mile from where I currently live.

That being said, I'd give all that up in a heartbeat to have the opportunity to go to Haas. There's plenty of other upsides to going to Haas too :).

Sadly, There is no upside for me. Either its Haas or Anderson. Anderson would mean flying every month to LA and doing a Flex Program as compared to an in-class experience. O well. If it comes to that, I am sure i will adapt but for now, lets keep hopes high.

Ditto.

I will add that the upside is that I can focus on my other ambitions, side projects, as well as personal time (travel, marathon runs, photography etc)

The upside would be getting to visit LA once a month and do stuff like go to Magic Mountain/Disneyland/Universal Studios, watch a game at Staples or Dodger/Angel Stadium, eat all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ in Ktown, etc. :)

So, I just got a call from an Unknown number.

Turned out to be my credit union. Gah.

Upside is that I won't be shelling out money...but that's the only upside. Berkeley is the dream, and if I don't get in this year, I will try again next year.

Well, hello, 12PM, no calls yet!!!!

Isn't there usually a live admissions chat that goes on here on gmatclub when results start to roll?

All the upsides I can think of are only if I get in. I would be heartbroken if I don't, but I will reapply again if it comes to that. Living in the Bay, there are other options like Santa Clara, Wharton, CMU, UC-Davis etc. but Haas is my dream and I've decided if it ain't Haas, then it is Haas next year.

I love everyone's spirit! Good luck! Hopefully the calls start coming in soon. If not, here's to next year.
