whoever said there was supposed to be a 5pm wave today...I dunno where they would've gotten that impression. They'll probably just send the remaining invites out tomorrow, and Wednesday (per Dee's blog post), will send out dings and waitlists.

She basically said "Thanks for calling. Interview decisions for this round have already been made."

What a bummer.

Personally, I guess Sandy Kreisberg's statement that JDs [and may I add non-HLS JDs] shouldn't bother with HBS is confirmed once again.

Hmm...Feb 1999 Maryland Bar passing answer to a contracts question included the following,
"Therefore, he can recover $455,500 which is ($4,500,000 minus $45,000)."

This might partially explain the stigma against JDs.

For those with interviews, I read that "what's your favorite book" is a recurring question.

What are they looking for in that question? Ie, what information about the candidate do they hope to extract from it?

No clue but my guess is to see if you're cultured, well-read and to understand your interests.

We're getting down to the wire... I see 13 in Boston, 1 in Shanghai, 1 in Sao Paulo, and that's it. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Haha, well even with the mentors I still didn't get an invite.
