Will the waitlist automatically move when some admits opt out or we shall have to wait till third week of feb-23 when IIMB rolls out offers for WL if any?

Does anyone know whether the CWL movement is subjected to the category of the admit choosing to opt out? For instance, if the admit who chooses to give IIMB a pass, is offered under OBC category, will that admission be offered to the first OBC candidate on the CWL, bypassing any UR candidate ahead on the list?

I got selected in Round 1 and it has been 3 months since I received a mail from the institute, so I am a little anxious!

I contacted the admission office regarding the waitlist.

The office's reply,
"Waitlist will be operated only after all the withdrawals. Tentatively by mid of Feb, if required we will operate."
