Have been seeing the anxiety here for the past few months. I usually keep quiet, because you know - telling people to not be anxious doesn’t really help them reduce anxiety. 😅 but, maybe sharing my perspectives can help you guys a bit. This is what I usually share with my candidates as well.
- the best way to approach MBA applications is to finish the app, submit it, and then prep for interviews. Forget about everything else. How many people invited, which city, which grades, xxxx - none of that is going to help you get an answer to the status of your app.
- especially for ISB - it has the **** admission process among all the top tier schools. Tech issues, anxiety, unclear/ambiguous info, no set deadlines… BUT - none of that affects you or your candidature unless you let it. If you have to receive an invite, you will. If you don’t, you won’t. ISB will email you. It won’t depend on whether others have received invites or not, or if someone similar to you received something or not.
The only job you have - as candidates - is to be prepared for an interview. Rest everything else is a distraction.
